POSITION: Sales Account Manager – East Coast North America
Supervisor: Sales Manager (Indirect reporting from Executive Assistant and eight team members across client services.)
Location: NE USA (Remote, Headquarters in El Segundo CA)
Direct Reports: None
Salary: Dependent upon experience, Base $65K plus commissions (Expected $100K)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday with requirement to participate in morning meetings

Our Web based application is an all-encompassing solution that includes contract management, financial transactions, royalty management, and asset management. Our entertainment solutions help music and media companies process royalties to participants.
POSITION:
The role of the Sales Director is to work with marketing team to qualify leads, influence prospects, and sign new clients. Using company supplied research tools allows insights into who is shopping for licensing solutions. In addition, you collaborate closely with the Client Service Team to implement new clients, manage client expectations, and identify additional needs within our existing sixty companies’ client base worldwide.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and assigned clients
- Qualify leads from referrals and web site
- Prospect and close new business within territory (6+ new clients per year)
- Support the Client Service Team members throughout the implementation process. Manage client expectations to ensure successful implementations to guarantee client satisfaction
- Service existing clients within territory (15+ companies)
- Visit clients, attend trade shows, attend marketing events and local industry events, both virtually and in person when and where required.
- Promote the company in cooperation conducting webinars and writing blog posts to build the DSI brand
- Maintain relevant contact databases in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce
- Reply to request-for-proposals, generate quotes, perform initial product demonstrations and conduct contract negotiations
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and Dynamics CRM
- Excellent English, verbal and written.
- College Degree
- Solid organizational skills including mindfulness while managing parallel priorities
- High degree of flexibility when accommodating shifting priorities
- Problem solving skills
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
- Licensing Industry Experience
- French, Spanish, Japanese and/or German language proficiency a plus
